about us

Lyndon Energy was founded in 2011 by a team of ex. BP Executives whose collective expertise and experience spans the Upstream, Midstream and Downstream aspects of the oil and gas value chain.

The business has transitioned from being an oil and gas consultant via its JV with the Engie Group to become a project developer in its own right. Lyndon Energy has migrated from a capital light to capital intensive business where shareholders can expect to benefit from long term material and stable cash flows from its LNG, Power and Infrastructure investments and trading.

Lyndon Energy is a progressive and innovative company, committed like no other to the reduction of carbon emissions from fossil fuels.  To that end, the company has adopted a philosophy of "enlightened decarbonisation" recognising that the world is not ready to adopt technologies like Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).  An example of the businesses efforts to reduce carbon emissions is through its participation in Lynben Energy & Gas Limited, www.lynbenenergy.com, a company focused on "flare gas capture to LNG" for power generation in Nigeria.  More generally Lyndon Energy is a developer of LNG to power and increasingly transport value chains recognising natural gas as the low carbon fossil fuel of choice.
