The Lyndon Energy Team has significant experience in the field of Upstream Access and Renewal of E&P portfolios. A critical component of this is Unconventionals including shale and gas coal bed and methane (CBM).

Our Principal Upstream Access and Unconventionals consultant is Frances Morris-Jones.  Frances has worked in many countries successfully developing new business. She brings strategic clarity and a problem-solving ability to business issues with skills in portfolio analysis and asset ranking, and a demonstrated capacity for creating and implementing integrated business visions and plans.

 

With a wide experience in the energy sector across upstream oil & gas, she has been at the leading edge of the search for unconventional resources, including shale oil and gas, and CBM, and has also significant experience of Russia and the Caspian, and China.  An effective communicator, at ease with collaboration across remote locations, she can help to build a team’s performance and confidence.

Recent experience includes assisting clients to consider ways to increase gas market share and optimise efficient use;  setting up a capability to rank and access unconventional resource plays;  building reputation with Governments and NOCs worldwide in support of country entry;  identifying and executing asset deals; providing assurance on M&A transactions.

Frances has worked in BP Group plc in Vice-President roles, with ConocoPhillips as Global Business Development Manager, and has been an Executive Director for Business Development at 3Legs Resources, an AIM-listed shale player in Poland. Frances has also served as a Non-Executive Director on the board of Det Norske Veritas, a maritime classification society and energy sector technical expert with turnover of €2.5bn.
